Role & responsibilities The Head Risk Policy will be responsible for development and implementation of optimum risk framework, policies and processes in Retail Lending (Secured & Unsecured Loans). The role is a that of a key member of management and responsible for evaluating and recommending the degree of acceptable risk and reward levels for the products and to set policies, processes, underwriting, portfolio management criteria and methods including the use of statistical models and techniques where appropriate. The role is also responsible for analyzing financial results from the products in particular relating to the major items of risk and reward (revenue, collections, provisions and write offs) and reports on the effectiveness of all major programs for changes where required. KPI's : To develop and implement risk management framework To develop, implement various policies and processes to ensure optimum risk management within the organizations risk appetite framework and compliance to regulatory guidelines To drive development, acquisition and implementation of systems that improve, enhance and monitor new lending applications Audits and Monitoring Support the audit teams and monitor and implement their observations To develop portfolio monitoring for effective risk monitoring To ensure effective early warning signals to management and develop risk recovery policies for defaulted loans Team Development Preferred candidate profile Preferably Post Graduate with 15+ years experience in Head Risk Policy for Retail Lending Segment (Secured & Unsecured Loans).

Has worked extensively in the corporate lending space and has the ability to read the fine print in financial statements. Would be an added advantage if has awareness of thirdparty credible and reliable sources for retrieving key corporate financial data. Has knowledge for essential risk related norms pertaining to underwriting especially in the corporate card/corporate lending space. Brings with him an understanding and awareness of best practices in unsecured underwriting, corporate lending and has an informed view on competition benchmarking including acceptable industry level TAT for underwriting corporate proposal.
