Job Summary: The Technical Regulations Compliance Manager is responsible for ensuring that the SEILs products and operations comply with all relevant technical regulations and standards. This role involves monitoring regulatory changes, implementing compliance strategies, and working closely with various departments to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements. Additionally, the manager will act as a bridge between the company and the Government of India, including regulatory ministries such as DPIIT, MoS, and MHI, to represent SEIL in various policy advocacy topics.
Key Responsibilities:

Regulatory Monitoring: Stay updated on relevant technical regulations, standards, and industry best practices.

Compliance Strategy: Develop and implement compliance strategies to ensure the company's products and operations meet regulatory requirements.

Documentation: Maintain accurate records of compliance activities, including regulatory submissions, audits, and inspections.

Training: Provide training and guidance to staff on regulatory compliance matters.

Audit Coordination: Coordinate and support internal and external product audits by BIS, other Govt bodies.

Risk Management: Identify and assess compliance risks and develop mitigation plans.

Stakeholder Communication: Liaise with regulatory authorities, industry bodies, and internal stakeholders to ensure effective communication and compliance.

Policy Advocacy: Represent SEIL in discussions with the Government of India and regulatory ministries (DPIIT, MoS, MHI) on various policy advocacy topics.

Continuous Improvement: Continuously improve compliance processes and systems to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

Qualifications:
Knowledge:

Strong understanding of technical regulations and standards relevant to the energy industry.

Well, connect with various regulatory bodies, Ministries etc.

Good to have basic product know how about electrical products i.e Transformers, High voltage switch gears, Generators etc.

Skills:

Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
