As a Painter specializing in finishing 3D models, toys, and idols, your primary responsibility will be to bring these creations to life based on design references or custom requests. You will apply base coats, highlights, shading, and detailed effects using various tools such as brushes and airbrushes. Mixing and matching paint colors to achieve accurate and consistent finishes will be crucial to your role. Collaboration with designers, sculptors, and production staff is essential to ensure high-quality results are consistently met. Maintaining a clean and organized workspace while following safety protocols is imperative. You will conduct quality checks and perform touch-ups as necessary to uphold the standards of the finished products. Additionally, suggesting improvements to painting techniques and workflows to enhance efficiency and quality will be encouraged. To excel in this role, you should demonstrate proven experience as a painter, model artist, or in a similar capacity. Proficiency in hand painting and/or airbrushing techniques is required, along with a solid understanding of color theory and surface preparation. Attention to detail is key to replicate styles and patterns accurately. Working with various types of paints, including acrylics and enamels, demands patience, precision, and a steady hand. Both independent work and effective collaboration within a team setting are essential skills for success.
