Manage day-to-day operations of the tool room, ensuring timely availability of tools, dies, and moulds.
Supervise machining operations including VMC, CNC, EDM, Wire Cut, and conventional machines.
Oversee tool and mould design using
SolidWorks
and
AutoCAD (2D & 3D)
.
Plan and execute preventive and breakdown maintenance of tools and moulds.
Monitor production requirements and ensure timely tool readiness.
Lead and guide a team of tool room technicians and machinists.
Handle procurement of tool room consumables, components, and coordination with vendors.
Prepare and maintain
MIS reports
related to tool performance, downtime, and utilization.
Ensure adherence to quality standards and safety regulations in the tool room.
Maintain inventory of tools and ensure cost control.

Requirements

Minimum 10 years of hands-on experience in tool room management.
Strong technical knowledge of
mould machining
,
VMC
,
CNC
,
EDM
,
Wire Cut
, etc.
Proficiency in
SolidWorks
and
AutoCAD (2D/3D)
.
Excellent leadership and team management skills.
Strong knowledge of
vendor management
and
procurement processes

Strong problem-solving, communication, and planning abilities.
