Title Travel and Tour Consultant

The Travel and Tour Consultant position at our company in Trivandrum requires a minimum of 2 years of experience in the travel industry. As a passionate and organized individual, you will be responsible for planning and coordinating customized travel itineraries, ensuring exceptional customer service, and providing expert advice on various travel destinations. Your role will involve researching and developing tailored travel plans, maintaining strong client relationships, and collaborating with travel suppliers to ensure seamless travel arrangements. Key Responsibilities: - Research and plan customized travel itineraries, including flights, accommodations, and activities. - Build and maintain relationships with clients to understand their preferences and needs. - Offer expert advice on travel destinations, cultural insights, historical landmarks, and local customs. - Coordinate with airlines, hotels, and tour operators for smooth travel arrangements. - Manage client itineraries from start to finish, ensuring timely and seamless travel experiences. - Address client inquiries and concerns professionally and promptly. - Stay updated on industry developments and travel trends. - Work collaboratively with team members to ensure effective communication and coordination. - Participate in sales and marketing activities to promote travel services and meet revenue goals. Requirements: - Minimum 2 years of travel industry experience, preferably in a consulting or planning role. - Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills. - Strong knowledge of global geography, travel destinations, cultures, and customs. - Ability to work independently and as part of a team. - Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). - Adaptability to changing circumstances and priorities. - Attention to detail, multitasking abilities, and familiarity with travel industry software.
