As a Development Manager at Altera Digital Health, you will be responsible for managing the Development team resources across multiple product areas to ensure that software development programs are adequately staffed and that targets for the development and maintenance of products are achieved. You will play a crucial role at the intersection of technology and the human experience, contributing to the advancement of healthcare technology. To be successful in this role, you should have a minimum of 8 years of progressive experience working on complex products and a minimum of 3 years leading or managing software development teams. You should possess the ability to drive best practices for development teams, communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders, and work independently while aligning with leadership goals. Key responsibilities include resource forecasting and allocation, defining and auditing progress with development processes, ownership of compliance and process improvement efforts, participation in quality improvement initiatives, establishing collaborative relationships with global counterparts, and setting performance goals for team members. You will also be responsible for identifying and recruiting talents, inducting new joiners, setting team objectives, allocating workload effectively, implementing development plans, providing constructive feedback, recognizing high performers, communicating company news, and fostering team spirit.
