An EM will fill 3 main roles during the execution of a project. These are Manager, Technical Leader and Communicator. The EM on a project is responsible for scope definition and manages the planning, resourcing and scheduling all the engineering related activities. In addition, the EM provides technical leadership, integrates the disciplines and resolves issues. The EM is responsible for delivery of all the technical deliverables to achieve the project objectives within the specified time frame and budget. Roles & Responsibilities: Review the Customer Specification for understating the project requirements and if any deviations get clarified with the Proposal team/ customer. Prepare the Design of the Equipments as per scope of purchase Order and applicable specifications. Prepare the Design calculations & equipment data sheet and get approval from the customer. Technical discussion with engineering team, Vendor and customers and get approval of engineering documents. Respond the Customer queries / clarifications on engineering documents related to the project. Prepare the Design Calculation for U-Stamp and get approval from Authorized inspector. Prepare the mechanical calculations of Pressure Vessels, Heater bundle, terminal box for procurement and manufacturing. Evaluate the vendor quotation for the technical specifications and scope clarity as per the Project requirements. Co-ordinate with the purchase team for any design changes which might affect the procurement of the materials. Evaluate the vendor engineering drawings as per the project guidelines and provide approval for manufacturing. Provide technical support during installing and commissioning at the customer site. Provide technical support for the closing the customer complaints. Prepare of as built engineering documents in support with vendor and close project final documentation. Maintaining all the design documents in line with ISO standards. Qualification & Skills required: Qualified Mechanical Engineer with 5 to 7 years of experience in Heat Exchanger /Pressure vessel Designs / electrical heaters / Skid manufacturing. Preferably in a U stamp approved manufacturer or any reputed EPC. Mechanical calculations for Shell & Tube Heat Exchanger in accordance with ASME Section VIII Division-1 latest edition and TEMA. Structural calculations for Equipment Support based on project site data, wind data and seismic data. Exposure to PED - Pressure Equipment directive / standards is preferred. Knowledge in ASME is preferred. Software Knowledge: Auto Cad, PV elite, MS office Thermal design software - HTRI / ASPEN will be desired.

Review and monitor the annual maintenance plan for all process/ utility equipment (such as cleaning and test machine for subassembly, dielectric and continuity test instrument, all repair equipment, consumables filing & package machine, forklift and warehouse package machines etc) to ensure all process/ utility equipment - chillers compressor DG , BMS etc can run with proper & timely maintenance. Attend breakdown of utility and process equipment Coordinate and follow up with relevant subcontractor to ensure effective maintenance in place for all process equipment. Following to group PE or site ME instruction, develop equipment maintenance process and SOP. Provide training to operators of daily maintenance (ie 1st level of maintenance) for process equipment Manage with performing of hand-on check and maintenance by daily/weekly/monthly on utility/process equipment. Put maintenance management system, monitor and improve maintenance KPI s Others : Effectively manage all subcontract service contracts related to process equipment maintenance. Responsible filing for all process equipment ensures accurate record keeping of files regarding the maintenance and repair for facility and equipment. Responsible for test, inspection or calibration as we'll as keeping relevant report or certificate properly. Involve or supports for calibration of process equipment. Be responsible for all compliance application and ensure all equipment & facility meet with statutory requirements. Propose budget for maintenance and repair, monitor & control relevant cost to ensure cost effective.
