Tester

The role requires you to perform daily test case execution and filing of bugs. Your key responsibilities include completing the assigned test grid without deviations from the given test steps, identifying product failures, and reporting them in the test repository and bug tracker. You are expected to properly update the test repository and bug database, file a number of quality bugs, adhere to schedules and timelines, comply with SLAs where applicable, and address any defects post-delivery along with non-compliance issues. Your outputs should focus on managing project tasks, estimating time, effort, and resource dependence for your work, circulating daily status reports, and updating the test repository. Additionally, you are required to report the status of assigned tasks and ensure compliance with validation standards and processes. Some of the skills expected for this role include proficiency in computer hardware and components operation, working with various Windows OS flavors and installations, evaluating test results against product specifications, estimating effort time required for tasks, performing tests in customer or target environments, collaborating in a team setting, and possessing strong written and verbal communication abilities. Knowledge of SDLC & STLC processes, familiarity with different testing methodologies, and a Bachelor's/Diploma in Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related fields are essential. Basic understanding of computer architecture, hardware components, and operating systems, familiarity with scripting languages such as Python, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, exposure to testing tools and frameworks like Selenium, excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities, and good communication and teamwork skills are also required.
