This position reports to the Channel Integration Leader and involves overseeing integration design and development tasks related to web application and document management within the middleware. As a Salesforce developer, your focus will be on web/middleware integration development, encompassing a variety of projects throughout the development lifecycle. Your responsibilities will include Salesforce customization, web services, SOA, business process modeling, and ensuring seamless integration between different systems while maintaining security protocols. In this role, you will actively participate in Agile-based projects to conceptualize, develop, and implement scalable technical solutions that enhance the existing functionality of salesforce.com and its supporting applications. You will collaborate with the team to address project requirements and maintenance tasks across the entire development life cycle, encompassing development, testing, deployment, and ongoing maintenance. Furthermore, you will serve as the deployment engineer, managing the deployment and reconciliation of change sets and deployment packages from both internal and external developers, while ensuring proper source versioning. As the Salesforce developer, you will also act as the administrator to configure and support the SFDC environment throughout the development lifecycle, integrating Salesforce.com with third-party tools as necessary. Additionally, you will be responsible for gathering and analyzing business requirements for minor changes and enhancements to optimize system performance. Essential Responsibilities: - Possess 4+ years of experience as a Salesforce.com developer, proficient in Apex, Test Classes, triggers, Visualforce, SOQL/SOSL, Force.com IDE, and Migration Tool. - Demonstrate at least 3 years of experience in Salesforce.com architecture, design, development, and administration. - Exhibit competence in the Salesforce.com deployment process, source control, HTML, XHTML, CSS, and Javascript. - Showcase strong object-oriented development skills, particularly in Java, and familiarity with integrated development environments like Eclipse. - Understand the release management process and Agile methodology, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills for issue resolution and user support. - Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively within a team environment, providing estimations for projects and establishing strong relationships across IT to facilitate solution delivery. - Develop standards, templates, best practices, and guidelines for work-products and processes, collaborating with project managers to ensure effective solution delivery. - Proactively identify and mitigate risks, work with solution architects and vendors to uphold quality standards, and enhance delivery performance through continuous improvement of work-products and processes. - Successfully manage staff by conducting timely performance reviews. As a qualified candidate for this role, you should possess a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Additionally, you should have 4-5 years of software development experience, with a focus on multicloud architecture, specifically in Service cloud/Vlocity omnistudio. Your experience should include working with Omni studio tools such as Data Raptor, Integration procedure, Omni script, Flex card, Trigger, Apex, Lightning Web Components, Aura Components, and managed packages. Hands-on experience in development practices is a must. Your responsibilities will involve designing and implementing complex Salesforce solutions, including creating Salesforce flows, entry-criteria/profiles, and data migrations. You should be proficient in creating flows, modifying objects, creating custom objects, writing Apex, triggers, and integrating API services using IDE/VisualSourceCode/Codebuilder. Understanding differing integration patterns will be crucial in this role. Experience with system integrations involving Salesforce.com web services (JSON, SOAP) and Vlocity Integration Procedure is required. You will be developing Apex (classes and triggers) to extend Salesforce to meet business requirements and working on custom User Interface development, including Lightning pages and Web Components. High-quality code development that aligns with customer needs and emphasizes simplicity, clarity, and testability is essential. Collaboration with Ford IT/Development teams to integrate Salesforce across the business will be part of your role. Adhering to Salesforce best practices, maintaining code documentation, writing/maintaining test classes for all custom development, and extending these best practices across Ford organizations are key responsibilities. You will also take ownership of release cycles to implement and deploy new/updates to existing applications and code. Additionally, having excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, strong communication, and collaboration skills are important for successful performance in this role. You should ideally have a strong proficiency in the Salesforce development ecosystem (Apex, LWC, Visualforce, Java), significant experience in web development environments (HTML, CSS, JavaScript), and familiarity with agile development methodologies. Nice-to-have qualifications include Salesforce certification (Salesforce Developer/Omni Script Developer), Salesforce Administrator, Platform App Builder, Data Architect. Experience in SRE in Copado and ability to architect services considering observability, traceability, and monitoring aspects will be beneficial. Proven experience in architecting and implementing service-oriented solutions, configuring and managing enterprise monitoring tools, and integrating with Cloud PaaS tech stacks are also desirable skills for this role.,
