Job Title: Tendering Engineer Civil / Electrical / Mechanical Open Positions: 2 Experience: 1 to 2 years Location: [Hyderabad] Industry: Power & Infrastructure Projects EPC (T&D, Substations, Solar, Industrial Projects) Educational Qualification: B.E./B.Tech Civil, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering Job Overview: We are looking for enthusiastic and detail-oriented Tendering Engineers to assist in evaluating tender documents, preparing BOQs, compiling technical/commercial proposals, and supporting bid submissions across Civil , Electrical , or Mechanical packages in power and infra projects. The ideal candidate should have foundational knowledge of engineering drawings, basic estimation, and tender workflows. Key Responsibilities: Tender Document Handling: Study and interpret tender/RFQ/RFP documents including scope of work, drawings, specifications, and BOQ formats. Support senior engineers in preparing bid deliverables and compliance documents. BOQ & Estimation Support: Assist in quantity take-offs from layout plans and technical drawings. Coordinate with procurement for collecting vendor rates for standard items. Maintain tender trackers and documentation libraries. Proposal Preparation: Draft and format technical and commercial proposals in standard templates. Ensure all tender formats, annexures, and compliance checklists are completed. Create basic rate comparison sheets and tabulations. Coordination & Communication: Interact with cross-functional teams (design, purchase, planning) to gather inputs for bid compilation. Support pre-bid queries and clarification documents. Key Skills & Competencies: Basic understanding of civil/electrical/mechanical works in infrastructure projects. Exposure to reading technical drawings, BOQs, SLDs, or layout plans. Good MS Excel skills (formulas, tables, formatting), MS Word, and PDF editing. Strong attention to detail, documentation, and deadline orientation. Willingness to learn tendering processes and costing principles. Tools/Platform Knowledge: MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), AutoCAD (basic Civil/Elec), PDF editors Familiarity with tender portals like GEM, SECI, NTPC, PGCIL (advantage)
