Job Overview:

Technology Head

The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in modern Java technology stacks, cloud platforms, and enterprise-grade microservices architecture. You will be responsible for driving technical excellence, defining strategic technology roadmaps, and ensuring scalable, secure, and high-performing solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage end-to-end technology strategy, architecture, and execution.
• Oversee the design and development of enterprise-level applications using Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices architecture.
• Drive cloud adoption and optimization strategies across AWS (preferred), ensuring scalability, security, and performance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product, business, QA, and DevOps to deliver high-quality software products.
• Establish best practices for agile software development, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps processes using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Manage a team of senior engineers, architects, and technical leads; provide mentorship and career guidance.
• Evaluate and implement new technologies/tools aligning with business goals and long-term vision.
• Ensure compliance with security, regulatory, and data governance requirements.
• Report directly to C-level leadership, providing updates on technology performance, challenges, and roadmaps.

  AWS (primary), Azure/GCP (optional)

• Architecture:

  Microservices, Event-Driven Architecture, API Gateway, Serverless (preferred)

• DevOps & Containerization:

  Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins, GitOps

  Agile, Scrum, TDD/BDD, CI/CD

• Tools:

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 15 years of experience in software development, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership or technology head role.
• Proven track record of leading large-scale projects and high-performing engineering teams.
• Strong understanding of emerging technologies, software trends, and business models.
