EEG (Electroencephalogram): Prepare patients for EEG procedures and explain the test process. Apply scalp electrodes using the international 1020 system. Monitor and record electrical activity of the brain. Identify and document abnormalities during EEG recordings. Ensure patient safety and comfort during procedures. ENMG (Electroneuromyography): Set up and assist with EMG tests involving needle electrodes. Support physicians in evaluating muscle and nerve function. Maintain sterile field and assist in patient positioning. Document findings and ensure high-quality recordings. NCS (Nerve Conduction Studies): Perform nerve conduction velocity tests using surface electrodes. Measure sensory and motor nerve responses. Assist in differentiating between various neuropathies and neuromuscular disorders. Calibrate and maintain neuro equipment. General Duties: Prepare and maintain equipment, ensuring proper functioning. Keep accurate patient records and upload results to medical systems. Follow all safety, infection control, and patient confidentiality protocols. Participate in continued education and training sessions. Skills & Qualifications: B.Sc Neuro Technology. Training in EEG, ENMG, and NCS procedures. Good communication and patient care skills. Knowledge of neuroanatomy and clinical neurophysiology. Attention to detail and ability to work independently.
