Job Title: Technical Team Leader (FinTech) Location: Chennai & Thane Maharashtra Employment Type: Full time Job Summary: We are looking for a highly skilled Technical Team Leader with experience in FinTech to lead our engineering team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing cutting-edge financial solutions while ensuring high performance, security, and scalability. The role requires a strong technical background, leadership abilities, and a passion for driving innovation in financial technology. Key Responsibilities: Lead a team of developers, engineers, and other technical staff in designing and building FinTech solutions. Oversee software architecture, development, testing, and deployment processes. Collaborate with product managers, business stakeholders, and regulatory teams to align technology with business goals. Ensure compliance with financial regulations, security standards, and industry best practices. Manage project timelines, resource allocation, and risk mitigation strategies. Advocate for Agile methodologies, DevOps practices, and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD). Mentor, guide, and provide technical direction to team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement. Stay updated with emerging technologies, trends, and best practices in FinTech and software development. Required Skills & Qualifications: Bachelor's/Masters degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. 6+ years of experience in software development, with at least 3 years in a leadership role. Strong knowledge of financial technologies, payment systems, blockchain, banking APIs, and digital wallets. Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, C#, or JavaScript. Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and microservices architecture. Deep understanding of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban), Jira, and Confluence. Strong background in security protocols, encryption, and regulatory compliance (PCI DSS, GDPR, AML/KYC). Ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues and optimize system performance. Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with AI/ML applications in FinTech and data-driven decision-making. Knowledge of containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and CI/CD pipelines. Prior experience working with third-party financial services and APIs (Plaid, Stripe, PayPal, etc.). Familiarity with event-driven architecture and messaging systems (Kafka, RabbitMQ).
