Technical Sales Manager

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Sales Manager to lead business development and sales efforts for battery packs , lithium-ion cells , battery management systems (BMS) , and chargers tailored for Electric Vehicles (EV) and Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) . The ideal candidate will have a strong technical understanding of energy storage products and a proven track record in B2B technical sales, preferably in the EV or energy sectors. Role & responsibilities Develop and execute sales strategies for: Battery packs for EV and ESS applications Lithium-ion cells (LFP, NMC, etc.) Battery Management Systems (BMS) EV chargers and BESS-compatible chargers Identify and engage new B2B customers in automotive OEMs, EV startups, renewable energy developers, integrators, and utility sectors. Build and manage a strong sales pipeline, meeting and exceeding quarterly and annual sales targets. Work with the product and engineering teams to offer customized energy solutions to clients. Provide technical product presentations and demonstrations. Monitor market trends, competitors, and regulatory developments to identify opportunities and risks. Manage customer relationships post-sales and ensure high levels of satisfaction and repeat business. Attend industry events, exhibitions, and trade shows to promote products and generate leads. Preferred candidate skills Bachelors degree in Engineering, Business, or related field (Electrical/Mechanical/Energy preferred). MBA is a plus. 5+ years of experience in technical sales, preferably in battery technology, EV components, or energy storage systems. In-depth understanding of: Lithium-ion battery chemistries (LFP, NMC, etc.) Battery packs for mobility and stationary applications BMS functionality and integration EV and BESS charging technologies Strong network within the EV and energy industries. Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. Willingness to travel as required.
