Technical Sales Engineer

You are a motivated Technical Sales Engineer with a background in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering. You will be responsible for selling specialized equipment, materials, or chemical solutions to industrial clients in the chemical industry. Your key responsibilities include promoting and selling process equipment, chemicals, or technical services, analyzing client requirements, developing customized technical solutions, and building strong relationships with clients. You will deliver technical presentations, prepare proposals, and collaborate with internal technical teams to ensure customer satisfaction. To qualify for this position, you should have a Bachelor's degree in chemical engineering or mechanical engineering, along with 2+ years of experience in technical sales or process engineering within the chemical sector. Knowledge of process systems, heat exchangers, pumps, valves, instrumentation, or specialty chemicals is required. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills are essential, and willingness to travel for client meetings and plant visits is a must. Preferred qualifications include familiarity with HAZOP, P&IDs, or chemical process optimization, experience with chemical safety regulations and environmental standards, and CRM experience (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot).
