Role Description:

Responsibilities

• Define and execute the strategic roadmap for data science and AI initiatives, identifying opportunities for innovation and competitive advantage.
  
• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of data scientists and ML engineers, fostering a culture of scientific rigor, experimentation, and ethical AI development.
  
• Oversee the end-to-end lifecycle of machine learning models, from problem definition and data exploration to model building, validation, deployment, and monitoring.
  
• Translate complex business challenges into data science problems, developing robust and scalable solutions.
  
• Partner with pre-sales, sales, marketing, Data Engineering, Business Intelligence, and other departments to identify use cases, gather requirements, and integrate AI/ML solutions into business processes.
  
• Stay current with the latest advancements in AI, machine learning, deep learning, and natural language processing, and drive their adoption where beneficial.
  
• Establish best practices for MLOps, ensuring efficient and reliable deployment, monitoring, and maintenance of ML models in production environments.
