Technical Lead, Engineering (JavaScript and MERN)

As a member of the Velsera team, you will play a crucial role in revolutionizing the pace of medicine. Your responsibilities at Velsera will involve designing and developing cutting-edge web applications that are high-performing, scalable, and secure. You will primarily work with React 18+ for the front-end and NestJS 8+ and Node.js 18+ for the back-end. Your tasks will include creating reusable components and front-end libraries, managing APIs through RESTful services, optimizing applications for peak performance, and collaborating with diverse teams to ensure code quality, security, and maintainability. To excel in this role, you are required to possess a Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a Master's degree in Computer Science. Moreover, experience in leading distributed or remote development teams, familiarity with DevOps practices, proficiency in Agile/SAFe methodologies, and a strong command of Javascript & MERN stack are essential. Your expertise in AWS Cloud services, microservices architecture, and databases like Mongo DB and postgres DB will be invaluable. In addition to technical proficiency, you will be expected to demonstrate excellence in execution, adhering to industry best practices, and internal coding standards. Your responsibilities will encompass developing, testing, and maintaining backend applications, utilizing AWS services for cloud-native applications, ensuring code quality, conducting unit testing, and participating in CI/CD pipelines. Security, compliance, and best practices are paramount, requiring you to follow secure coding practices, comply with data privacy regulations, and maintain accurate system documentation.
