Technical Consultant

As a NAV/BC Technical Consultant, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing technical solutions in Microsoft Dynamics NAV/Business Central. You will customize and extend core applications using AL language, C/AL, C/SIDE, and .NET integration. Your role will involve performing data migration from legacy systems to Business Central, including the development and execution of data conversion scripts. Additionally, you will be required to develop and maintain integration points between Business Central and other enterprise systems, such as third-party APIs and REST/SOAP services. In this position, you will provide technical support to users by troubleshooting and resolving issues related to NAV/Business Central performance, functionality, and integration. Collaboration with functional consultants to define business requirements and translate them into technical specifications will also be a key aspect of your role. You will develop and deliver custom reports using SSRS, Power BI, or other tools, and participate in all phases of the SDLC, including analysis, design, development, testing, deployment, and post-go-live support. Moreover, you will be responsible for writing detailed documentation for customizations, integrations, and system configurations. It is essential to stay updated with the latest Microsoft Dynamics updates and best practices to recommend improvements effectively. To qualify for this role, you should possess a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, along with 3-5 years of experience working as a technical consultant with Microsoft Dynamics NAV/Business Central. Proficiency in programming with AL, C/AL, C/SIDE, and a solid understanding of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central architecture are required. Experience with data migration, upgrades, and integration between NAV/BC and other systems, as well as a strong understanding of SQL Server and database management, is essential. Furthermore, experience with Power BI, SSRS, or other reporting tools is considered a plus. Familiarity with REST/SOAP API development and integration, along with the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment, are also important. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills are necessary for this role. Holding a Microsoft Dynamics NAV/BC certification is highly desirable.,
