As a Network Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the reliability, performance, and quality of our network infrastructure and associated software systems. You will participate in the formulation of comprehensive test plans and test cases to ensure the functionality, performance, and security of network-related software, protocols, applications, etc. while ensuring robust Software Quality Engineering practices within the team. This position involves a blend of network engineering, software quality assurance, and technical support to maintain the stability and integrity of our SQA network environments. You will collaborate with a skilled team of software, firmware, and hardware engineers in the development of our Q-SYS platform, a rapidly advancing, award-winning software, and hardware platform focused on cutting-edge audio, video, and control products. Responsibilities: - Possess a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field along with relevant certifications (e.g., CCNA, CCNP, CCIE, CompTIA Network+). - Demonstrate at least 3-5 years of hands-on network engineering experience. - Have a deep understanding of networking protocols such as IPSEC, HSRP, BGP, OSPF, 802.11, QoS, and a solid grasp of the OSI or TCP/IP model. - Exhibit strong knowledge in network security best practices and proficiency in using network diagnostic tools. - Showcase excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. - Possess strong communication skills to collaborate with diverse teams and effectively articulate complex technical issues. - Ability to devise innovative solutions to complex problems and experience in qualifying audio systems, video systems, meeting room solutions, or network equipment is highly desirable. - Provide Level-2/3 support and troubleshooting to resolve issues, and familiarity with scripting and automation tools for network tasks (e.g., Python) is highly desirable. Qualifications: - Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of network infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, and associated software systems. - Analyze network performance data and troubleshoot issues, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to optimize network performance and reliability. - Develop and implement network/security-related software test cases and automated tests as part of the Q-SYS software development team. - Take ownership of your lab infrastructure and assist in leading engineers on assigned projects. - Collaborate with the development team to troubleshoot and debug intricate software issues and work effectively with globally distributed teams in a cooperative environment.,
