TANDOOR COMMI 1 Job Summary: The Tandoori Commis 1 is responsible for preparing, cooking, and presenting authentic tandoori dishes while maintaining the highest standards of hygiene, food quality, and kitchen safety. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with tandoor operations and Indian spice blends, and a passion for culinary excellence. Key Responsibilities: Prepare marinations and mise en place for tandoori items such as kebabs, naan, roti, tikkas, and grilled meats/vegetables. Operate and maintain the tandoor oven safely and efficiently. Monitor food cooking times and temperatures to ensure consistent quality and doneness. Assist senior chefs in recipe execution and menu preparation. Maintain cleanliness and organization in the tandoor section and overall kitchen. Ensure portion control and minimize food wastage. Follow hygiene and food safety standards as per FSSAI or HACCP guidelines. Store and label food items properly to maintain freshness and avoid cross-contamination. Skills & Qualifications: Minimum 2–3 years of experience in a similar tandoor role (preferably in a hotel or fine dining setup). Strong knowledge of tandoori cooking techniques and Indian spice blends. Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment. Familiarity with kitchen safety, sanitation, and hygiene practices. Team player with a positive attitude and willingness to learn. Work Environment: Hot kitchen environment with long hours, including weekends and holidays. Standing for extended periods; requires physical stamina. Job Type: Full-time Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month Work Location: In person
