Job Description

AMK Group is looking for an experienced Talend Developer to join our dynamic team. We're seeking a professional with a strong background in designing, developing, and deploying robust ETL solutions. You'll be instrumental in creating end-to-end data transformations and workflows, leveraging your deep SQL knowledge and expertise in Talend Data Integration. This role requires an independent problem-solver with excellent communication skills and the ability to lead small development teams. Key Responsibilities ETL Solution Design & Development: Design, develop, and deploy end-to-end ETL solutions using Talend Data Integration . Talend Expertise: Utilize Talend Data Integration to create complex transformations and workflows according to detailed requirement specifications. Data Mapping: Work with Talend Data Mapper or manage XML data structures to facilitate data transformations. Scripting & SQL: Apply deep SQL knowledge and scripting skills to manage and manipulate data. Java Integration: Leverage a good understanding of Java and hands-on experience using Java functions within Talend. Team Leadership: Lead small teams of 2-3 developers, conduct code quality reviews, and recommend best practices to ensure high-quality deliverables. Requirements Translation: Understand customer requirements and translate them into functional, data mapping/transformation specifications. Quality & Best Practices: Ensure adherence to data governance, quality, and performance best practices. Documentation: Maintain clear and comprehensive documentation for ETL processes and data pipelines. Communication: Clearly communicate technical concepts and project progress in spoken and written English. Required Skills & Experience Overall Industry Experience: 7-12 years in designing, developing, and deploying ETL solutions. Talend Data Integration: 3+ years of hands-on experience developing and productionizing solutions with Talend Data Integration. Data Mapping: Mandatory experience with Talend Data Mapper OR working with XML data structures . SQL & Scripting: Deep SQL knowledge and experience with scripting are a MUST . Java: Good understanding of Java and hands-on experience using Java functions in Talend. Leadership: Experience in leading small teams of 2-3 developers, including code reviews and best practice recommendations. Requirements Analysis: Ability to understand customer requirements and translate them into technical specifications. Tools: Good knowledge of MS-Office tools. Personal Attributes: Independent worker with outside-the-box thinking, a can-do attitude, and excellent analytical skills. Communication: Excellent communication skills in spoken and written English. Added Advantages Industrial Engineering or Computer Science graduate. Experience with Talend Data Quality component. Good knowledge of the insurance business (experience in actuarial or insurance fields). Experience with information systems (such as ERP) at a super user level. Ability to understand data models and complex data structures.
