Job Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled System Engineer with 14 years of experience to lead the development and integration of next-generation digital instrument clusters and cockpit systems . The role demands deep technical acumen in automotive system engineering , focusing on feature definition , interface management , and system validation , ensuring seamless integration of hardware, software, HMI, and network interfaces. You will work across cross-functional teams and act as the central technical point of contact for feature realization , system-level issue resolution , and customer interactions throughout the lifecycle of the product. Key Responsibilities: System Requirements & Architecture: Elicit, define, refine, and manage end-to-end system requirements for advanced cluster and cockpit ECUs. Develop system architecture , including block diagrams, system decomposition, and signal-level data flow. Map OEM feature requirements to subsystem requirements across hardware, software, display, and connectivity. Maintain traceability from features to requirements to test cases using tools like DOORS . Interface & Communication Management: Define and manage interfaces between subsystems: MCU, SoC, displays, touch controllers, sensors, CAN, LIN, Ethernet, USB, Bluetooth. Collaborate with software and hardware teams to specify and validate HW-SW interfaces and communication matrices (DBC, ARXML) . Analyze and define requirements for bootloaders , diagnostics , and OTA update mechanisms . Feature Integration & System Validation: Own feature integration plans and perform system-level feature testing and debugging (in bench and vehicle). Coordinate with validation teams to create system test cases , HIL test scenarios, and DFMEA/FTA inputs. Support integration testing , issue triaging , and root cause analysis across layers (HW, BSP, middleware, app layer). Compliance, Standards & Quality: Ensure system-level compliance with ASPICE Level 2+ , ISO 26262 Functional Safety , ISO/SAE 21434 Cybersecurity , and EMC standards (CISPR 25, ISO 11452). Support audits, reviews, and technical documentation for design releases , customer sign-offs , and PPAP submissions. Customer & Supplier Interface: Act as a technical liaison with OEMs & technical partners. Handle requirement negotiations , change requests, impact analysis, and delivery planning. Support field teams during test drives, validation campaigns , and vehicle integration activities . Required Qualifications: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering , or Embedded Systems . 5–6 years of experience in automotive system engineering , specifically in digital clusters, cockpit domains, or infotainment . Proficient in CAN, LIN, Ethernet communication protocols, UDS diagnostics , and CAN DBC files . Strong understanding of embedded electronics architecture , SoCs (Qualcomm, MediaTek), microcontrollers (Renesas, NXP, Infineon), displays, and sensors. Experience with tools like DOORS, CANoe, CANalyzer. Desirable Skills: Knowledge of Android Automotive, QNX, Linux-based platforms . Understanding of Hypervisors, Multi-OS systems , and virtualization in cockpit ECUs. Exposure to AUTOSAR (Classic/Adaptive) architecture and tooling. Hands-on experience in HMI validation , graphics stack (OpenGL, GPU drivers), or voice assistants . Familiarity with FUSA analysis (ASIL B or above) and cybersecurity threat modeling . Soft Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset. Excellent communication and documentation skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced, cross-cultural, multi-disciplinary environment . Capability to lead and mentor junior engineers in system integration activities.
