We are looking for a skilled Requirements Engineer who has good experience working on automotive Battery Management Systems (BMS). Incubent should have 8 years of hands-on experience in requirements engineering, systems engineering, or product development, with a history of successfully handling and defining detailed system requirements using Polarion or similar ALM tools. Required Qualifications Bachelors or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Mechatronics, or related field. 8+ years of experience in requirements engineering, with at least 3+ years in automotive Battery Management System (BMS) development. Proficiency in Polarion ALM or similar tools (e.g., DOORS). Key Responsibilities Elicit, analyze, define, and manage system and software requirements for Battery Management Systems in compliance with AIS 156, ISO 26262 and other automotive standards. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including hardware, software, validation, safety, and systems teams to ensure requirement clarity and completeness. Utilize Polarion for requirements authoring, traceability, versioning, change management, and reporting. Develop and maintain traceability matrices, requirement hierarchies, and interface requirements. Participate in design reviews, FMEAs, hazard analysis, and safety concept development. Support V-model or ASPICE-compliant development lifecycles, ensuring requirements coverage across all development phases. Manage requirements change control and impact analysis during the product development lifecycle. Coordinate with stakeholders to align on functional and technical specifications. Drive continuous improvement in requirements engineering processes, tools, and methodologies. Regards, Trupti
