Job Description

We are seeking an experienced System Administrator to join our IT team in India. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing server infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance, and maintaining security protocols. Responsibilities Manage and maintain server infrastructure, ensuring high availability and reliability. Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues as they arise. Implement and manage security measures to protect systems and data. Install, configure, and upgrade operating systems and software applications. Perform regular backups and disaster recovery operations. Collaborate with other IT staff to ensure effective system integration and support. Document system configurations, processes, and procedures for future reference. Skills and Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. 5-10 years of experience in system administration or related roles. Proficiency in Linux and Windows server environments. Experience with virtualization technologies such as VMware or Hyper-V. Strong knowledge of networking concepts and protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP). Familiarity with database management systems (e.g., MySQL, SQL Server). Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Bash, PowerShell) for automation tasks. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
