As a Manager-Geology at HCI-Heavy Civil Infrastructure in Mumbai, you are required to have 10-12 years of experience after completing your B.Tech/M.Tech in Civil/Geology/Rock Mechanics. Your primary responsibilities will include working on underground tunnel projects such as NATM/Soil Tunnel/Low Cover Tunnel and independently handling the project's Geology work. You will be expected to review, monitor, and suggest remedial measures based on tunnel instrumentation records, specifically focusing on AAA levels. Proficiency in Geotechnical Software like DIPS, WEDGE, UNWEDGE is essential for this role. Your tasks will involve geological mapping of various project components, including Face mapping and Surface mapping at the site. Experience in rock mass classification and support selection is required for this position. You will also be responsible for Portal Stabilization, Tunneling, and Underground Works. Identifying potential hazard zones and geological risks such as fault lines, weak rock zones, rock bursts, and water inflow will be crucial. As a Manager-Geology, you will be expected to provide daily and monthly progress reports, monitor project works, and conduct reviews. Planning for Major Civil Works, as well as reviewing and monitoring them, will be part of your routine tasks. You will also need to interact with clients and local liaisons to manage the company's scope of work effectively. Documenting geological database and documentation as per IMS & ISO guidelines will be a key aspect of your role. Familiarity with grouting techniques such as Jet, Consolidation, and Contact Grouting will also be necessary to succeed in this position.,
