Key Responsibilities: Prepare and review transmission line designs using PLS-CADD, PLS-POLE, and TOWER , AutoCad, Staad Pro software. Perform route alignment studies, sag-tension calculations, structure spotting, and profile development. Design and analyze steel lattice towers, monopoles, and foundation systems. Coordinate with GIS teams for topographical and route survey integration. Review and validate transmission line designs for structural adequacy and regulatory compliance. Prepare detailed BOQs, technical specifications, and design reports. Collaborate with electrical engineers, project managers, and construction teams to ensure design feasibility and timely execution. Support tendering processes with technical inputs and documentation. Conduct site visits for feasibility studies, inspections, and technical assessments. Ensure adherence to international (IEEE, ASCE, IEC) and local standards. Requirements: Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering (Master’s preferred). 5–15 years of relevant experience in transmission line design. Proficiency in PLS-CADD (mandatory), PLS-POLE , and TOWER software. Experience with international design standards and codes. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
