Job Description

As a Senior Principal Software Engineer in Corporate Solutions, you will be responsible for driving technical and process change across the organization. You will leverage your expertise to influence and build relationships for strategic results, working closely with various stakeholders and the enterprise. Your proven track record of clear and concise communication will be essential in analyzing business and technical requirements to define a strategy and roadmap to achieve key goals. Your role will involve architectural design for application and data-centric solutions, including the migration of on-premise applications and data into the public cloud. You will also be instrumental in driving solutions that integrate with external parties and coaching diverse application and data engineering teams towards defined objectives. The ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt to rapidly changing scenarios will be crucial, along with experience in leveraging SQL and NoSQL persistence storage technologies. In terms of skills, you should have expertise in Java/Spring Boot application development, data engineering/data warehousing, ETL/data pipelining, as well as Typescript/Angular/frontend development. Proficiency in cloud-based development and delivery, resiliency-based patterns and practices, service development and integration, event and command messaging, and SQL and NoSQL data storage is required. Additionally, experience in contract-driven service development and the ability to lead and manage technical teams effectively are key aspects of this role. Furthermore, as a Senior Principal Software Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring corporate security responsibilities. This includes adhering to Mastercard's security policies and practices, maintaining the confidentiality and integrity of accessed information, reporting any suspected security violations, and completing all mandatory security trainings as per Mastercard's guidelines.
