Sr. HVAC Design Engineer (MEP)

We are seeking a Senior HVAC Design Engineer to join our MEP Design & Engineering Team at Axiums Global Delivery Centre in Andheri, Mumbai. This role presents the opportunity to lead projects, mentor junior engineers, and contribute to international projects spanning commercial, residential, retail, healthcare, and laboratory sectors. Responsibilities: - Lead HVAC design projects from conceptualization to detailed design and documentation, including BOQ, specifications, schedules, and drawings. - Ensure compliance with prevailing codes, standards, and best practices such as ASHRAE and SMACNA. - Maintain regular communication with global clients, managing project expectations effectively. - Provide mentorship and guidance to junior engineers within the team. - Focus on developing sustainable and energy-efficient HVAC solutions. - Proficient in utilizing design software like Trane Trace, IES VE, Camel, AutoCAD, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Office. - Review and ensure the delivery of high-quality error-free outputs. - Collaborate with various disciplines within the MEP team for seamless coordination. Skills & Experience: - Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering. - Minimum of 6 years of experience in HVAC design in the MEP industry. - Solid understanding of HVAC systems for diverse project types. - Knowledge of building standards from the US, UK, or Australia is advantageous. - Excellent communication skills to engage effectively with clients. - Demonstrated leadership and mentoring abilities.
