Sr Engineer Mechanical Maintenance KG KKD

The primary objective of this role is to contribute to the company's production targets by efficiently managing workshop operations, providing timely mechanical services to relevant departments, and ensuring the safe, reliable, and optimal availability of plant equipment through systematic maintenance practices and documentation. Responsibilities include overseeing workshop activities such as machining and drilling as requested by maintenance teams, collaborating with plant maintenance engineers to prioritize and complete workshop jobs in line with plant operations, maintaining accurate equipment maintenance history in SAP, documenting LLF checklists, PSV testing reports, and other related documentation, ensuring critical documents like Cause & Effect matrices, O&M manuals, and control system drawings are available and up to date. Furthermore, the role involves strictly adhering to safe maintenance practices, following Permit-to-Work systems, conducting regular toolbox talks with the workshop team, promoting a culture of safety compliance and awareness, participating in Reliability-Centered Maintenance initiatives, reviewing Preventive Maintenance task lists and SMPs, implementing and monitoring lubrication schedules, recommending improvements for equipment performance and reliability, acting as a coordinator for internal and external audits, ensuring timely resolution of audit findings and improvement actions. The ideal candidate should possess in-depth knowledge of mechanical equipment used in Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, or Chemical plants, working knowledge of Cause & Effect Matrix and condition monitoring techniques, expertise in SAP PM and MM modules, strong documentation, troubleshooting, and coordination skills, and the ability to share knowledge and build technical capability within the team. Qualifications required for this role include a B.E. / B. Tech in Mechanical Engineering with 5 to 10 years of relevant experience in Mechanical Maintenance, preferably in Oil & Gas, Hydrocarbon Processing, Petrochemical, or Chemical Industries.
