Sr. Data Engineer (Azure Synapse) || 5-8 yrs || Ahmedabad

The Senior Data Engineer role requires 5 to 8 years of experience and expertise in Azure Synapse and deep Azure data engineering. You will be responsible for designing and implementing data technology and modern data platform solutions within the Azure environment. Your key responsibilities will include collaborating with Data Architects, Presales Architects, and Cloud Engineers to deliver high-quality solutions, mentoring junior team members, and conducting research to stay updated with the latest industry trends. You will also be expected to develop and enforce best practices in data engineering and platform development. We are looking for candidates with substantial experience in data engineering and Azure data services, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, proven experience working with diverse customers, and expertise in developing data pipelines, APIs, file formats, and databases. Familiarity with technologies such as Synapse, ADLS2, Databricks, Azure Data Factory, Azure SQL, Keyvault, and Azure Security is essential. Experience with CI/CD practices, specifically within Azure DevOps, and agile delivery methods is preferred. This is a full-time position based in Ahmedabad, India, with a hybrid work mode. The work schedule is from Monday to Friday during day shifts.
