Roles and Responsibilities:

• Utilize advanced knowledge of embedded engineering disciplines, processes, and tools to deliver innovative solutions for security smart devices.
• Contribute to the development of next-generation security smart device products by designing, testing, and/or validating products/processes.
• Develop new products within a cross-functional team environment.
• Translate marketing requirements and product vision into detailed specifications.
• Develop embedded firmware, including creating project and technical reports and defining product architecture.
• Maintain firmware applications and develop internal tools, including shell scripts.
• Aid in the design, development, and redesign of applications and systems to meet customer needs.
• Actively participate in commercial new product development for fire systems, covering requirement analysis, feasibility studies, architecture design, software implementation, testing, and debugging.
• Take ownership of fire systems project operation and maintenance.
• Collaborate with external ODM/OEM suppliers or third-party vendors for product development.
• Provide expertise to ensure the success of complex engineering projects and programs.
• Mentor more junior engineers, fostering their growth and development.
• Interact with internal and external customers to facilitate product completion to specifications.

Skills Requirement:

• Strong technical knowledge in

  Embedded C

  and

  Embedded C++

• Good working knowledge in

  Embedded Linux Operating System

  .
• Good understanding of

  POSIX standard, IPC, Multi-threading

  , etc.
• Strong debugging skills with hands-on experience with hardware.
• Relevant knowledge of working with peripherals and communication protocols.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to multi-task effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong team player with a keen sense of urgency and drive for business success.
• Excellent communication skills with an entrepreneurial spirit.
• Knowledge of Fire System/Domain is an added advantage.
• Product Cyber Security skills are beneficial.
• Familiarity with GB, EN, UL fire regulatory experience is a plus.
• Understanding of the agile software development spirit, with experience in agile methodologies being an advantage.

QUALIFICATION:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electronics, or Communication Engineering.
