Sr. Accountant

As an experienced and dedicated Accountant, you will be responsible for managing various general ledger activities, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and month-end/year-end close processes. Your primary role will involve preparing accurate and timely financial statements to support the organization's budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis requirements. You will play a crucial part in coordinating with auditors for internal and external audits and ensuring compliance with tax regulations, while also assisting with tax filings. In this role, you will be expected to provide guidance and support to junior accounting staff, leveraging your expertise to assist in improving financial processes and implementing effective controls. Your Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, coupled with at least 5 years of progressive accounting experience, will be instrumental in your success. A strong understanding of financial reporting, proficiency with accounting software, and advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and macros, are essential requirements for this position.
