Job Description

Job Responsibilities

Manage inventory levels of spare parts to prevent shortages and overstock situations.
Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers and vendors to secure competitive pricing and quality parts.
Monitor the usage of spare parts and analyze trends to forecast future needs.
Coordinate with maintenance teams to ensure that required parts are available for scheduled and emergency repairs.
Evaluate and approve purchase orders for spare parts, ensuring compliance with budgetary constraints.
Maintain accurate records of inventory, orders, and supplier performance.
Implement inventory management best practices to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
Conduct regular audits of spare parts inventory to identify discrepancies and areas for improvement.
Assist in developing training materials and programs for staff on parts management and usage.
Report on inventory levels, trends, and supplier performance to management.
Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and environmental regulations in all activities related to spare parts management.
