The ideal candidate will possess a strong proficiency in crafting authentic South Indian culinary delights, ranging from dosas, idlis, vadas, sambars, chutneys, to various traditional delicacies. Your role will involve upholding elevated standards of taste, quality, and hygiene. Your primary responsibilities will involve the preparation and cooking of a diverse array of authentic South Indian dishes, including dosa, idli, vada, uttapam, sambar, rasam, and an assortment of chutneys. It will be crucial to ensure that each dish is infused with the right flavors, texture, and visual presentation. Proficiency in handling and utilizing kitchen equipment, such as dosa tawa, steamers, and grinders, will be essential. Maintaining consistency in both food quality and portion sizes will be paramount in this role. It is imperative to adhere strictly to food safety protocols, uphold impeccable kitchen cleanliness, and ensure compliance with hygiene standards. Furthermore, overseeing the inventory of South Indian ingredients like rice, lentils, spices, and coconut will be part of your routine tasks. The capacity to thrive in a fast-paced culinary environment, managing multiple orders efficiently, will be key to success in this role.
