Job Summary Collaborate with various Business Partners to perform day to day activities Be an effective member of the General Accounting team by developing an understanding of the operational theory, processes, inter-department data and reporting requirements. Prepare and upload manual accounting journal entries into ERP (SAP) and document management system. Assist in the establishment of a consistent journal entry preparation process Prepare and upload monthly and quarterly account reconciliations and supporting documentation into document management and workflow tool. Assist in ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements Generating various system related month end close reports and assist with sub-ledger close procedures. Assist with the maintenance of written documentation of internal controls over accounting and financial reporting. Assist with quarterly external audit and internal audit data gathering responsibilities utilizing a document management system Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion. Regular, consistent, and punctual attendance. Other duties and responsibilities as assigned. Knowledge of GST.
