The ideal candidate will be responsible for the testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting of substation control and protection systems to ensure their proper functioning and reliability. The candidate should have strong technical capabilities, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment. Conduct testing and commissioning activities for substation control and protection systems, including relay testing, scheme testing, and protection coordination studies. Configuration, parametrization, goosing, interoperability, and integration of Protection IEDs with SAS systems. The design, engineering and implementation of substation protection systems to optimize monitoring, control, and protection functions within electrical substations. Responsible for preparation & approval of engineering document like FDS, SLD, PSLD, Signal List, Bill of Materials, General Arrangements (internal & External), Panel heat load calculation. Preparation of Testing & Commissioning documents such as FAT, SAT, Test Reports, and Schedule Plans. Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to substation control and protection systems. Collaborate with other engineering teams to ensure seamless integration of substation control and protection systems with overall substation design. Provide technical support and training to junior engineers and field personnel. Experience in supporting the factory during manufacturing, mounting of equipment & wiring, testing and pre-FAT test & FAT witness.
