Software Wlan Host -Engineer Senior

Qualcomm India Private Limited is seeking a skilled individual to join the WIFI Host driver team focusing on tasks related to WIFI Standard protocols WIFI7/WIFI8. As a part of this team, you will be responsible for working on wireless drivers, hostapd/wpa_supplicant, protocols, and various features within our wireless access point solutions. The ideal candidate should possess a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field, along with 3+ years of experience in Software Engineering. Alternatively, a Master's degree with 2+ years of experience or a PhD with 1+ year of experience in the same field will be considered. Additionally, a minimum of 2 years of academic or work experience with programming languages such as C, C++, Java, or Python is required. Key qualifications for this position include: 1. Minimum of 4 years of experience in software feature development using C/C++ programming languages. 2. Strong understanding of Linux Kernel internals with experience in low-level kernel programming like writing/modifying device drivers is preferred. 3. Proficiency in network protocols such as TCP, UDP, IPv4, IPv6, ARP, and DHCP. 4. Good knowledge of Linux network stack and any prior experience with wireless LAN (WiFi) device drivers will be advantageous.
