Software Tester

Job Description

Description We are seeking an experienced Software Tester to join our quality assurance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality and performance of our software products through rigorous testing and validation processes. You will work closely with developers and product managers to deliver high-quality software that meets our customers needs. Responsibilities Designing test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on software requirements and technical specifications. Executing manual and automated tests to ensure the software is functional and meets quality standards. Identifying, recording, and tracking defects using defect management tools. Collaborating with developers and product managers to understand features and provide feedback on usability and functionality. Participating in requirement analysis and providing input on testability and design. Creating detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test documentation and reports. Conducting regression testing when bugs are resolved and new features are added. Skills and Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. Proven experience in software testing methodologies and practices. Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and testing life cycle (STLC). Hands-on experience with automated testing tools (e.g., Selenium, JUnit, TestNG). Familiarity with programming languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript for test scripting. Knowledge of database testing and SQL for data validation. Experience with performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner) is a plus. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively in a team environment.
