Software Test Engineer

You are a detail-oriented and analytical Software Test Engineer with experience in both Manual and Automation Testing. Your responsibilities include designing test cases, executing tests, reporting defects, and ensuring high-quality software releases. In Manual Testing, you analyze requirements, write detailed test cases, execute functional and regression tests, log defects using bug tracking tools, and perform exploratory testing. You review user stories and acceptance criteria to ensure test coverage. In Automation Testing, you design, develop, and maintain automation test scripts using tools like Selenium, TestNG, or Postman. You develop test automation frameworks for UI, API, or performance testing, integrate tests with CI/CD pipelines, optimize test cases for faster execution, and troubleshoot automation failures. You hold a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field with 3 years of software testing experience. You have strong knowledge of SDLC, STLC, Agile methodologies, proficiency in tools like Selenium WebDriver, JIRA, TestNG, and Postman, and basic understanding of programming languages like Java, Python, or JavaScript. You also have experience in database testing, REST API testing, and preferred qualifications in BDD tools, mobile application testing, and performance testing tools. Your soft skills include excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, strong communication and documentation skills, attention to detail, and a passion for delivering quality products. You can work collaboratively in a cross-functional team. The job types include Full-time, Part-time, Permanent, and Fresher roles with 45 hours per week.
