Software Quality Analyst

As an Associate Software Quality Analyst at our office in Arjan Garh, MG Road (Delhi), you will play a crucial role in maintaining the highest quality standards for our services. Your primary responsibility will involve collaborating with various teams to identify areas for enhancement, creating and implementing effective testing strategies, and ensuring that our deliverables consistently meet or exceed customer expectations. Your key responsibilities will include understanding both business and technical requirements to develop comprehensive test plans, generating and executing manual and automated test cases, conducting a range of tests such as functional, regression, performance, and UI testing, as well as identifying, logging, and tracking bugs using tools like Jira, Bugzilla, or Trello. You will also be responsible for validating product behavior across different platforms and devices, ensuring compliance with standards and guidelines, and collaborating closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to address any issues that may arise. To qualify for this role, you must hold a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field, with a certification in software testing (e.g., ISTQB, CSTE) considered a plus. Additionally, a minimum of 2 years of experience in manual and automated testing environments is required, along with familiarity with Agile or Scrum methodologies. Proficiency in tools like Selenium, Postman, JMeter, or Appium, knowledge of programming languages such as Python or Java for automated testing, and the ability to write SQL queries are essential technical skills for this position. Strong analytical skills, a problem-solving mindset, attention to detail, and effective communication abilities are also crucial in this role for creating test cases, defect reports, and test summary reports, as well as liaising with cross-functional teams efficiently.
