Software Engineer I

You are a motivated Angular Software Engineer II who is passionate about delivering innovative solutions and improving the quality of products. In this role, you will be responsible for developing clean, scalable, and testable solutions in our Typescript + React codebase. Demonstrating proficiency in code quality, delivery, documentation, and software development best practices is essential, as well as showcasing a capacity for growth in these areas. As an active team member, you will design and develop scalable, high-performance software solutions. Your responsibilities include writing clean, maintainable, and testable code in TypeScript within React or Angular projects. Working on various product areas under the guidance of architects and lead engineers is crucial to ensure cohesive solutions. You will independently define, design, and communicate most work within the team, articulating technical solutions effectively. Additionally, participation in code and design reviews, process improvement initiatives, and staying updated with industry trends and technologies is expected. Writing and maintaining technical documentation, as well as active participation in Agile/Scrum teams for effective project execution, are key responsibilities. To be successful in this role, you should have at least 2 years of experience in software engineering with expertise in TypeScript, React/Angular, CSS, and other relevant technologies. Excellent communication skills are necessary for collaborative work with other departments and stakeholders. Experience and passion for test-driven development approaches, as well as a self-starting attitude towards technology and innovation, are highly valued. A general awareness of modern process best practices (Agile, Scrum, Kanban, etc.) and openness to pragmatic approaches for challenging conventional best practices are important traits.
