Software Engineer I - Java FullStack

As an Engineer at McKinsey, you will be an integral part of the consulting team, leading digital transformation projects with clients and ensuring that the firm stays at the forefront of technology. You will work closely with small, agile development teams, utilizing a combination of open source technologies and traditional Enterprise software products to deliver innovative solutions to our consultants. Your role will involve hands-on leadership of software development teams, where you will be responsible for prototyping code, conducting code reviews, and managing the delivery process. You will also play a key role in guiding teams on agile engineering practices and adopting technical standards to enhance organizational capabilities. In addition to technical responsibilities, you will work directly with clients from various sectors, advising them on leveraging technology effectively. Your expertise will be crucial in turning client ambitions into tangible outcomes through ground-up development, coaching, and mentoring. You will also collaborate with clients to build their technical capabilities and foster a culture centered around engineering best practices and Agile values. Demonstrated experience collaborating with diverse teams and proficiency in languages/frameworks such as JavaScript, TypeScript, React.js, Angular.js, Java, SQL, MongoDB, AWS, Azure, GCP, Jenkins, Docker, and more is essential. Experience working in Agile teams and active participation in sprint ceremonies will be advantageous for this role.,
