This candidate will be joining a team working on scalable web services using cloud technologiesThe work will be highly visible to Amazon customers and internal stakeholders- As a Software Development Engineer, this person will lead the architecture and development of high-scale web services and workflows
A successful candidate will have an established background in designing and developing back-end web services, strong technical skills, a motivation to achieve results in a fast-paced environment, high creativity, and great analytical reasoning skills-
3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience Experience programming with at least one software programming language 3+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience Bachelors degree in computer science or equivalent
