As a Preschool to Grade 12 school located in the city of Rajkot (Gujarat) and founded by Harvard alums, we uphold a unique pedagogy known as the Northstar Approach. This approach, based on extensive research, aims to facilitate student learning and teaching by encouraging exploration and discovery of oneself and the surrounding world. Your responsibilities will include planning and delivering lessons in accordance with the Northstar Approach, utilizing various technologies and innovative teaching methods. Collaboration with colleagues in curriculum planning and implementation, as well as engaging in team teaching, will be integral to your role. You will be expected to design and conduct assessments for formative, summative evaluations, and to identify any initial misconceptions among students. Regular communication with parents regarding student progress and participation in parent meetings are also crucial aspects of this position. Additionally, as a proponent of the Northstar Approach, you will be required to embody and advocate for this methodology both within and beyond the school premises. The ideal candidate should hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant discipline and possess prior experience in teaching, particularly at progressive educational institutions.
