Site Manager Projects Electrical

Job Summary:

Looking for a skilled and experienced Site Manager Projects (Electrical) to lead and manage the execution of utility and commercial-scale solar,substation, or BESS projects across various locations. The ideal candidate should have a

strong electrical engineering background, hands-on site management experience, and the

ability to coordinate with multiple stakeholders to ensure timely and quality project delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead end-to-end site execution of electrical projects including solar PV systems,

substations, and battery energy storage systems (BESS).

• Review and interpret technical drawings, electrical layouts, and project

specifications.

• Supervise installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical systems and

equipment.

• Ensure site readiness, resource planning, and materials availability in coordination

with planning and procurement teams.

• Monitor site progress, ensure adherence to project timelines, and resolve on-ground

issues proactively.

• Ensure strict compliance with safety protocols, quality standards, and industry

regulations.

• Coordinate with internal teams, contractors, vendors, and clients for seamless project

execution.

• Conduct daily site reporting, maintain documentation, and update project milestones

regularly.

• Perform quality checks, inspections, and support during client audits or handovers.

• Manage and mentor site engineers, supervisors, and technicians on best practices

and standards.

Key Skills & Qualifications:

Bachelors Degree/Diploma in Electrical Engineering (B.E./B.Tech preferred).

8–10 years of relevant experience in project execution in solar, electrical infrastructure, or

BESS projects.

Strong knowledge of electrical installation, commissioning procedures, and system

testing.

Hands-on experience managing large-scale project sites and contractor teams.

Proficient in reading single line diagrams (SLD), layouts, and electrical BOQs.

Familiarity with electrical safety codes, IS/IEC standards, and local regulatory norms.

Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Willingness to travel or stay at remote project sites as per project requirements
