Shopify / WordPress Developer

Codenex is looking for a passionate and skilled Shopify cum WordPress Developer with 1–2 years of hands-on experience. The ideal candidate should be confident in building custom websites from scratch, proficient in Shopify Liquid and WordPress Elementor, and capable of delivering responsive, high-performance websites.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain custom WordPress websites using Elementor and custom code when necessary.
• Design and build Shopify websites using Liquid themes, custom sections, and third-party app integrations.
• Convert Figma/PSD designs into responsive websites.
• Customize existing themes and plugins on both platforms.
• Optimize site performance, responsiveness, and SEO fundamentals.
• Troubleshoot bugs and debug issues across browsers and devices.
• Collaborate with UI/UX designers, digital marketers, and backend developers.

Requirements:

• 1–2 years of hands-on experience in both Shopify and WordPress development.
• Proficiency in Shopify Liquid and theme customization.
• Expertise in WordPress Elementor and custom theme development.
• Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery.
• Experience with third-party integrations and APIs.
• Familiarity with version control (Git is a plus).
• Good understanding of responsive design and cross-browser compatibility.

Preferred Skills (Bonus):

• Experience with Shopify app development.
• Basic understanding of SEO best practices.
• Knowledge of WooCommerce.
• Familiarity with performance optimization tools.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
