POSITION PURPOSE: This role leads the analytics vertical within Strategy and Commercial Excellence function, responsible for leveraging data, advanced analytics, AI/Gen AI, and digital tools to drive business performance, especially within field force operations. The individual will serve as a strategic thought partner to senior leaders and stakeholders across the business. YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 1. Strategic Leadership in Pharma Analytics: Drive the analytics roadmap aligned with India Business priorities to elevate field force performance and commercial excellence Act as a strategic thought partner for Business Heads and NSMs to translate business needs into scalable analytical solutions Benchmark global best practices and bring innovation to analytics models tailored for Indian pharma dynamics 2. Sales Force Effectiveness (SFE) Analytics: Lead the design and continuous evolution of SFE KPIs (e.g., doctor coverage, call frequency, product prioritization, call quality) Monitor and report on SFE metrics at territory, regional, and zonal levels for timely business interventions Link SFE analytics to business performance by creating actionable insights and enabling coaching inputs for field leaders 3. Dashboards, Data Visualization & Insights Engine: Design and maintain powerful dashboards and insight platforms for real-time monitoring of sales KPIs, field force health, and business impact Partner with MIS/IT teams to ensure data accuracy, automation, and system stability Support BU leadership with custom analysis, executive summaries, and visual storytelling 4. AI/ML & Gen AI Enablement: Identify and develop AI/ML use cases including field force segmentation, performance prediction, incentive optimization, and call impact modelling Pilot and scale Gen AI tools for productivity enhancement (e.g., automated call summaries, competitive insights, query bots) Drive external partnerships and POCs with AI startups, data science firms, and technology partners for pharma-specific Gen AI solutions 5. Team Leadership & Collaboration: Manage, mentor, and build capabilities of a high-performing team of data analysts and business insight specialists Promote a culture of agility, innovation, and business alignment Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure analytics deliverables are well-integrated into marketing campaigns, brand planning, and field force strategy. Drive external partnerships and POCs with AI startups, data science firms, and technology partners for pharma-specific Gen AI solutions WHO YOU ARE: MBA / Post-Graduation in Data Science, Business Analytics, or Pharma Management 10+ years of experience in the field of SFE Experienced in Pharmaceutical (India-focused) or Healthcare analytics SFE Analytics, Commercial/Marketing Analytics AI/ML/Gen AI in business context Experience in managing large field force data and incentive design Vendor and cross-functional stakeholder management Strong expertise in Excel, Power BI/Tableau, SQL Familiarity with pharma commercial systems (e.g., CRM/SFE tools, IQVIA data, doctor universe, segmentation frameworks) Understanding of AI/ML platforms, Gen AI tools, Pythan/R and cloud-based analytics Strong analytical and critical thinking skills Excellent interpersonal and communication skills High attention to detail with strong business acumen Collaborative mindset with ability to influence without authority Ability to work under pressure and drive multiple priorities Job location: Sun House, Mumbai

Roles and Responsibilities: - Extensive work experience in SFE Analytics, preferably in the Pharma sector. - Deep understanding of Pharma Data (internal & external), best practices, and leveraging data to drive desired outcomes. - Proficiency in at least 2 out of 4 areas: Territory designing & balancing, FF alignment, Call planning management, and Incentive & target management. - Analyzing cross-channel marketing & commercial interventions, developing use cases, estimating value, and implementing solutions. - Collaborating with business users to comprehend decision-making challenges and recommend data-driven solutions. - Assisting in data collection, cleaning, and pre-processing from various sources to build usable datasets. - Leveraging advanced data analytics to address business needs and create a significant business impact. - Designing data science solutions in partnership with technology architects. - Strong affinity towards quantitative methods and data analysis to provide valuable business insights. - Technical skills required: Excel, SQL, Python / R. Skills And Qualifications: - Minimum 4+ years of experience in a reputed medium to large-scale manufacturing organization (preferably in the pharmaceutical industry) or in a business consulting firm. - Previous experience in FMCG or Pharma, particularly in Sales & Marketing/Sales Force Excellence areas. - Experience in working with data to deliver insights to senior management/leadership teams.
