Job Description

As a Salesforce Developer at Morgan Stanley Wealth Management, you will be utilizing your expertise in designing, developing, testing, and deploying CRM solutions on the Salesforce platform. With a minimum of 4-9 years of experience, you will collaborate with a distributed team to create end-to-end solutions that seamlessly integrate with the in-house platform and infrastructure. Wealth Management Technology (WM_Tech) is responsible for the technical solutions supporting products and services used by Morgan Stanley Wealth Management Business. Your role will involve working within the AIDT group of the WM Technology department, contributing to a multi-year Platform Transformation Initiative. This initiative aims to build applications with new capabilities using modern technologies, including mobile platforms, while ensuring high-quality products through best practices in coding. Your primary responsibilities will include hands-on programming focusing on LWC, AURA, Apex, and Visualforce development. You will design solutions with out-of-the-box features, custom configurations, and code on the Salesforce platform. Additionally, you will be involved in the DEVOPS process using tools like FLOSUM, Jenkins, or other CI/CD tooling, as well as integrating REST and SOAP using Workbench. Your role will require knowledge of OOP concepts, HTML5, CSS3, Javascript, JQuery, and clean, scalable code writing in Salesforce programming languages. You will participate in requirements analysis, work with data teams for data loading and exporting, and collaborate with various teams to test and deploy applications. Familiarity with Agile Methodology, Test-Driven Development, and software design patterns is essential. Furthermore, you will be expected to revise, update, refactor, and debug code, while documenting throughout the software development life cycle.
