Servicenow Tester

Key Responsibilities

• Execute, Lead the QA/testing efforts for ServiceNow CSM projects, including planning, execution, and reporting, and aligning with Agile methodologies.
• Develop, review, and maintain test plans, test cases, and test scripts for various ServiceNow modules (CSM, Portal, ServiceNow platform etc.).
• Coordinate with business analysts, developers, and stakeholders to understand requirements and ensure test coverage.
• Execute manual and automated tests in ATF; identify, document, and track defects through resolution.
• Mentor and guide junior QA/testers on writing ATFs, ensuring adherence to QA processes and standards.
• Participate in requirement reviews, design walkthroughs, and sprint planning sessions.
• Ensure compliance with organizational and industry QA standards.
• Prepare and present test status reports, metrics, and quality assessments to management.
• Support continuous improvement by recommending enhancements to QA processes and tools.
• Stay updated on ServiceNow platform updates, new features, and best practices.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.
• 5-8 years of experience in software quality assurance, with at least 3 years focused on ServiceNow testing.
• Strong understanding of ServiceNow architecture, modules, and workflows.
• Experience with both manual and automated testing tools (e.g., Selenium, ATF).
• Proven ability to lead QA teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Experience with defect tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, ServiceNow).
• ServiceNow certification(s) preferred (e.g., Certified System Administrator, Certified Implementation Specialist).

Desired Skills

• Experience with ServiceNow ATF, API testing and integration validation.
• Knowledge of Agile, ITIL processes and their implementation on ServiceNow.
• Strong knowledge of ServiceNow CSM modules.
• Strong organizational and documentation skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Continuous learning mindset with a passion for quality and process improvement.
