Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair GIS systems, including the replacement of faulty components and testing the systems post-repair. Perform on-site testing using specialized diagnostic tools to assess the functionality and safety of switchgear components. Provide technical assistance and on-site support to clients during system operation and shutdowns. In-depth knowledge of Gas Insulated Switchgear, electrical systems, and high-voltage equipment. Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and electrical testing equipment (e.g., CRM kit, CB timing Kit, DCRM test kit, SF6 Gas analyzer, SF6 Gas handling equipment, PD Analyzer, CPC 100, CT analyzer etc.). Document all service activities, including repairs, upgrades, and modifications to the systems. Conduct Periodic site Audits to improve upon execution quality and reduce NCC. Familiarity with safety standards and regulations in high-voltage environments (e.g., IEC standards). Essential Functions: Build customer relationship in a professional manner through solution-oriented communications and service, providing both on-site and telephone support. Responsible for installation expertise, calibrating, configuring, testing, maintaining, evaluating and troubleshooting, pre-commissioning, commissioning and repair as necessary to associated equipment.
